Wrinkle Relaxing Injectables

A proven cosmetic solution to facial wrinkles

Relax those wrinkles with trusted and effective anti-ageing injectables.

It is common to acquire fine lines and wrinkles due to the natural ageing process or because of environmental and lifestyle factors such as too much sun exposure or smoking. A proven effective and trusted cosmetic solution to facial wrinkles is a wrinkle softening injection of botulinum toxin A such as Botox or Azzalure – both these trusted brands have been proven to be effective in improving the appearance of lines and wrinkles especially on the forehead and around the eyes.

All injectable treatments are carried at by Dr Ailing Jeavons who is the director of the clinic and lead aesthetic practitioner, so rest assured you will feel in safe and skilled hands at all times. When you receive the injectable treatment, the affected nerve sends a message to particular muscles instructing them to relax and this leads to an immediate softening effect in the area where the targeted wrinkle is located. Repeated Botox treatments will give significant and long-lasting results and slow down the development of future wrinkles.

Why choose injectables?

Botox injections are a clinically-proven and safe choice for combatting certain natural signs of ageing. In some cases, you will only need one injectable treatment to see the desired results. You can also choose to target different problem areas during each Botox treatment depending on your individual goals and personalised treatment plan.

I would (and regularly do) highly recommend the excellent team for their professional knowledge, skill and gentle care.

How long does Botox take to work?

The positive results of a wrinkle-relaxing injection like Botox or Azzalure can be seen in as little as 2 days after treatment although sometimes it can take up to a week to see the best results. If you’re considering a wrinkle-softening treatment to get you looking your best for a special event, we would recommend that you book an appointment about 2 weeks beforehand.

At what age should you start having Botox?

The decision to have an anti-ageing treatment such as Botox®, is not about age but more about whether you have acquired any facial wrinkles that you’d like to conceal! Regular wrinkle-softening injectables will both smooth out existing wrinkles and inhibit the future formation of wrinkles.

Are there any side effects of Botox treatment?

As with all medical procedures, there are some potential side-effects of a Botox® injectable treatment but generally speaking they are mild and short-lived. Occasionally you may notice a very slight droopiness of the eyelid but this only occurs in less than 5% of cases and symptoms go within 2 weeks maximum. Furthermore, if you are regularly taking aspirin or NSAIDs you may experience some light bruising.
